Learn How to Draw Knuckles From Sonic the Hedgehog

This is a drawing lesson to show kids (or adults) how to draw this "old-skool" video game character, Knuckles the Echidna, from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.  You can see my attempt to draw Sonic here.

Remember to start out fairly light, making basic shapes, like ovals, triangles, and other  easy shapes. 

This helps to "rough in" the main blob that will become the character.  Although he kind of resembles Sonic in some ways, Knuckles has some aspects to him that separate him from the main hero, like his spiky dreadlocks, different shoes, more furrowed brow and his namesake knuckles on his hands.

Eventually, once you get the main areas of his body and head roughed in, you can begin to create darker lines that "flesh out" his character, like his eyes, nose and mouth.

Just follow the video and see if you can create Knuckles too!  Remember, creating art or sketching  is meant to be fun, creative, and help you to express yourself.  Don't worry if you don't get it perfect--neither do I!
