Introduction: Learn Piano - Easy Winners

Scott Joplin's piece Easy Winners played slowly with a metronome.

The song is broken into 3 areas so pay attention to the measure numbers in the step so you know exactly what parts of the song I am playing from. My metronome was set to 44 beats for each step.

Also for your convenience I have attached a Public Domain pdf file of Easy Winners so you can follow along.

Step 1: Part 1 Left Hand Separately.

Measures 1 - 20 from the first page…

And Measure 39 - 54, from pages 2, 3 the same repeated section from the beginning.

Step 2: Part 1 Right Hand Separately.

Measures 1 - 20 from the first page…

And Measure 39 - 54, from pages 2, 3 the same repeated section from the beginning.

Step 3: Part 1 Both Hands Slowly.

Measures 1 - 20 from the first page…

And Measure 39 - 54, from pages 2, 3 the same repeated section from the beginning.

Step 4: Part 2 Left Hand.

Now we get to the next section…

Page 2 Measures 22 - 38.

Step 5: Part 2 Right Hand.

Page 2 Measures 22 - 38.

Step 6: Part 2 Both Hands Slowly.

Page 2 Measures 22 - 38.

Step 7: Part 3 Left Hand.

Last section of the song is on Page 4.

Measures 77 - end.

Step 8: Part 3 Right Hand.

Measures 77 - end.

Step 9: Part 3 Both Hands Slowly.

Measures 77 - end.

Step 10: Perfect and Perform.

Now that you know how to play the whole song - speed up your metronome by 4 or 8 beats at a time.

The full speed of the song is about 72 beats.

Please enjoy listening to me performing the entire song.
