Unknown to me, my kids had some Adegan/Ilum crystals and inserted them into the blade matrix when I wasn't looking. I was able to snap this image before breaking it up. It's all fun and games until someone loses an arm. (please note: the blades in this image are photoshopped. technology hasn't come that far.)
From one geek to another, that's not necessarily true. Some Jedi/Sith built their sabers with dual activation in which they could use the button as a momentary switch (as you suggest), or you could double-click the button to keep the blade on.
Long time Star Wars geek. :) If you want easy reference.... just watch the movies. When a jedi or sith goes down, their saber deactivates before hitting the ground. The arena battle in Revenge of the Sith is a good example of that. In Return, Vader force throws his at Luke in the throne room battle.
actually, if you can launch this this fast enough, if can be able to penetrate, or even rip apart, the neck of a person. but it has to be really fast....
with guts, i meant daring. my plan was: seal the steel tube on one side, drill a small hole through the sealing, pour the barrel of blackpowder into it, then roll the projectile into it. then, have enough guts to stick a lighted match through the hole in the sealing... the problem is, afterwards, you could be deaf.
YAY! I finally figured out what to do! you empty out the barrel, pour the guts (whether they be human or animal) into it, snort the remaining powder with the tube, jump in the barrel, and swallow the lighted match!
that isn't strong enough. pressured CO2, CO, oxygen, or any other gas can't create enough force when expanding than blackpowder. an 'air' cannon is actually seven times weaker than a normal cannon. so take out ye' black powder and shoot thy foe! (downside: some blackpowder can stay on your hands. do not stroke cats, they will become a bit of grey. and they can experience 'spontaneous combustion' near fire. so remember: Don't Stroke Your Cat After Handling Blackpowder .)
Thank you for teaching me how to make a lightsaber anyway where do you buy the parts to make a lightsaber because ive serched every where to findthe parts for the lightsaber
Well... I am an amateur graphic artist and a Student filmmaker. I am currently in production of a fanfilm. I know how to do the Lightsaber effects on both images and video. If any one is interested look up Ryan Wieber. He has tons of FX tutorials on his website. Have fun. P.S. below is an example of my work ;D
