Like flat soda?
This is for those of you who like flat soda(in a bottle) but don't want to pour and leave it out, or shake it knowing the consequences of doing so, just to make it flat.  Sorry for the pictures for being so small.

Shaking the bottle allows carbon dioxide to be released from the solution. and carbon dioxide out of solution is less dense than when it is in solution, so the bottle expands. I think that's right. Happy to be corrected...
