This is for those of you who like flat soda(in a bottle) but don't want to pour and leave it out, or shake it knowing the consequences of doing so, just to make it flat. Sorry for the pictures for being so small.

Step 1: Pick it.

Get your bottle of soda and open it.

Step 2: Squeeze it.

Squeeze all the air out of the bottle.

Step 3: Cap it.

Screw the cap back onto the bottle and read the next step.

Step 4: Shake it.

Shake the bottle until the bottle fully expands, BUT stop shaking it at that point.

Step 5: Enjoy it.

Open it and and repeat steps 2-5 until the bottle stops expanding. This may not always work but if it does enjoy. If someone wants to explain this, as i cannot, feel free to. Also, this is my first instructable.
It works
Thank u it worked quickly
I love flat 7-up.
i like flat pop because then you can actually taste it especially root beer
Who would want that?
My dad does it. Its a preference thing.
People who like flat soda.
That's who the instructable is for, hence the title and first line of instructable.
Then your just drinking gross surgar water

It pretty much is sugary water in the first place, all that is lost is the carbonation.
I for one prefer my soda a little less fizzy than the way it arrives. I've been doing the same thing for years. Well done turning it into an instructable.

Shaking the bottle allows carbon dioxide to be released from the solution. and carbon dioxide out of solution is less dense than when it is in solution, so the bottle expands. I think that's right. Happy to be corrected...
