Introduction: Lil' Granny Bunny

About: Hi there! I’m Rachel. I always love crafting since I was a kid. From Scrapbooking, making DIY cards, beading, cross-stitching and sewing etc. I discovered the lovely art of “Crocheting” only in September 2011.…

Let us welcome Lil’ Granny Bunny to the family! Another meaningful creation I made specially for my one an only loving and caring Grandmother. I’ve always wanted to crochet something meaningful for her and I’m glad she made her own request. Here’s what she wants:

- A bunny rabbit
- With long ears
- Size to fit nicely in her hands
- Do not want the bunny to be all white because it will get dirty really fast

I’ve been working on this creation ever since she requested a few weeks ago. What do you think?
Lil’ Granny Bunny is approximately 7inches tall and 5.5inches wide.

Embroidery the word “Bible” or any words you like onto the book cover with white tapestry thread.
Glasses:

Using a piece of “thin wire”. Bend it to the shape of a glasses and placed it on the bunny’s face once in awhile to ensure that the glasses fits nicely. Once you’re satisfied with the shape, cut a few pieces of long maroon yarn and coil around the thin wire. Use a little bit of fabric glue to glue the loose ends to ensure the yarns are secure.
Fabric glue safety eyes to the face.
Sew on the ears to the head using white/grey tapestry thread or yarn.
Attach the body to the head using white/grey tapestry thread or yarn.
Sew on the arms to each side of the body using white/grey tapestry thread or yarn.
Sew on the legs to the bottom of the body using white/grey tapestry thread of yarn.
Sew on the tail to the back of the body using white/grey tapestry thread or yarn.
Attach the Bible to the hands using grey tapestry thread.
Lastly, put on the glasses on the bunny.
And Congratulations, you’ve completed your Lil’ Granny Bunny!
