Introduction: Line Follower Robot Using WitBlox
Building a Robot has always thrilled us. Building an Intelligent Robot that can take its own decision is even more thrilling. Let’s build a Line Follower Robot today using WitBlox. Line follower is an autonomous robot which follows either black line in white are or white line in black area. Robot must be able to detect particular line and keep following it.
Step 1: Step 1 - Get Ready With the Blocks to Be Used for This Project. You Would Be Needing a Battery, Power, Motor Driver and IR Sensing Modules
Step 2: Step 2 - Now Place All These Modules in the Order As Shown. We Are Using Power Block, IR Sensor Block As Input and Driver With Motors As Output.
Step 3: Step 3 - Next, You Need to Arrange All These Blocks on Your Model. Be Careful While Placing the IR Sensors at the Front As They Need to Be at an Optimum Distance From the Ground and Not Touching It.
Step 4 - Time to get your robot moving on the ground. You can use normal black insulation tape as the line for your line follower. Switch the power module on and experience the journey through the line with your robot. To see it working, log on to our YouTube channel.
