Have you wanted to try textured nail polish but weren't sure if you wanted to buy it? Now you don't have to! This easy technique nearly duplicates the result of a textured polish.

Step 1: Tools

You will need:

-nail polish of your choice, i chose black
-fan brush
-fine glitter*
-optional: base coat**

*white glitter covers best for most colors, but any color you have will work
**a coat of white under any color tends to prevent staining

Step 2: Base Color

Paint a coat of your chosen color

Step 3: Glitter

While your polish is still wet, pick up some glitter with the fan brush and dab it onto your nail, making sure to cover the whole surface

Step 4: Top Coat

Paint your chosen color over the glitter. Make sure not to paint it too thick, or the texture won't come through!
Let it dry and the texture will begin to show.
