Introduction: Logic Gates

Hello! friends

Welcome to my another Logic gates project. Its also the topic of Digital And Logic Design by Morris Mano (fifth edition) with the help of this project you'll know how logic gates works in reality.

So let's get started.

Step 1: Circuit Diagram

With the help of this diagram we can build our logic gates project very easily.

Step 2: Components

Already components mention in a previous diagram but something i wanna share with you. In this project i'm using only 1 bit for each IC's as a manually like (0/1) and other bit is already active for all IC's so that's why i'm using only 7 spst but you can use it 12 spst and you can control each bit as a manually.

you'll need

IC's: lm7805, 74ls08 (AND), 74ls00 (NAND), 74ls32 (OR), 74ls02 (NOR), 74ls86 (XOR) and 74ls04 (NOT) with bases

Switches: spst x 7

Resistors: 1k x 7

Led's: Red x 7

Vero board

Some jumper wires

Step 3: Component Placing

Place your components on a vero board and then soldering it.

Step 4: Soldering

Soldering your logic gates components very nicely and make some connections with jumper wires.

Step 5: Finish

Then it's look like this now enjoy your own dld logic gates project. Connect your 9 volt battery and push the power button on and it's ready to use. Small video in next step about logic gates which will clear your concepts.
