I love my dog- A LOT. He normally doesn't wear a collar. This is the new dog collar I have invented! Ta da! Yeah, it's just a fishtail! Don't judge=) And know that you cannot walk your dog with this collar. I hope you enjoy!=D

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

You will need...
•Loom Bands
•Any Loom or Your Fingers
•S-Clip or C-Clip
•Loom Pick or Crochet Needle
•Dog Tag
•Your Dog

Step 2: Figure Eight

Twist a single band into a figure eight.

Step 3: Add Two Bands

Step 4: Fishtail

This collar is a fishtail, hint hint! I bet you already figured that out. Follow the pictures if you don't know how to make a fishtail. If you do know, then you're good!

Step 6: Taking Shape

After a few times of adding and looming, your fishtail will take form.

Step 7: Halfway Done

When you're halfway done, you can add your dog tag!

Step 8: The Dog Tag

I don't have a dog tag for my dog, so I have to use this smiley face charm=) Way better! Take a single band and loop it through he top of your dog tag.

Step 9: Putting It On

Then put the band onto your loom as shown. Loom like normal until you're done. Done means that it will loosely fit around your dog's neck.

Step 10: All Done

My dog has a pretty large neck. He's not fat, just chubby=) Size will vary!

Step 11: Put Your Clip on the End

Step 12: Wear and Enjoy!

Now your dog can wear this cute little collar! Thank you so much for viewing!
<p>Good idea!! You have a cute dog! :)</p>
Very cute
your dog is cute! what is your dog's name :-)
pls reply<br>
im waiting
thank you! I'll get to work on it now :D I'm thinking minions all the way round it :D
I might try a collar like that actually! would you mind if I made a instructable on it with original credit to you?
Why of course! That's a wonderful idea! Can't wait to see it!=P
<p>Very cute!</p>
<p>So sorry for the late reply! Thank you!=)</p>
Would the rubber rub on them and annoy them or hurt them?
<p>Sorry for the late reply! And to tell the truth, depending on what dog you have, it may irritate the dog's skin. Let's just say that you have one of those hairless dogs. This would really irritate them. Same with a long haired dog. But I think that it works for a short haired dog like Bennie.</p>
Interesting looking dog
<p>Well I'll take that as a compliment lol=)</p>
I'm half tempted to get a fabric collar and make a look band collar slightly larger than it, and put a few stitches to hold the one to the other, so that the fabric is in her fur and the bands less so :/
<p>Ah that's a great idea! Sorry this collar didn't work out!=(</p>
<p>haha I love the last picture &lt;3 so cute</p>
<p>Lol my dog is such a model. I thought it was one of the best ones I have of him=P</p>
<p>awwww! cute dog! This is my puppy. Leo :3 :)</p>
Yeah=( Cute dog! Maybe you can sew a fabric collar or use other material. I will make sure that one day, I will post a tutorial on a better collar meant for dogs with long hair, okay?
would love to try this, but I think my dogs' hair would be too long for it and get caught in it :(
Well that's a shame! And I think that it depends on what dog you have. Bennie was not resistant when I put it on, but that's him.
I did this for my three chihuahuas. but they destroyed the collars after a couple weeks. :/<br><br>
Good job
