Step 5: print!

OK, OK, you have a 3D file. Now what?

Well there are a couple of options. There are sites where you can upload a file and have it printed like Ponoko and Shapeways.

Or, if you're extremely lucky you have access to a 3D printer. These were printed on an Objet30, which is also the grand prize in the Make It Real Challenge

That's it, hope you're living more on the side of love than hate. Thanks for reading.
ok that is beast
This is sweet! But i dont have a 3-D printer is there a way i can like send the desgin of the words to someone to print it?
Shapeways and Ponoko both do this
This reminds me a lot of anearlier entry in the competition by ziggalo about a 3d perspective signature model. I do like it though and the images that you have entered of your model give a much nicer face to the final product.
Oh, nice, I hadn't seen that. It's the same results with a different technique. ziggalo cuts away at the first extrusion with the second and I'm intersecting the 2. <br /> <br />One problem that both of these have, though, is that it can be difficult to line up each view. That's probably worse with ziggalo's since those models are more intricate. <br /> <br />The next test I want to do for this is to create two extrusions and then taper each one in towards the front of the word a little bit. This way, the whole extrusion can line up along with perspective and be easier to read.

Oh man... this is trippy!
Hey Ed, on TV Tropes, there's an interesting word I think would fit your print quite nicely. It's called &quot;<a href="http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Tsundere">Tsundere</a>&quot;
I love it ... I think ???? <br>Nicely done !
Thank you
