Stir the purple one until it well.

After the purple one is half-cooked pour the white one above it. Steam it for 10-20 minutes until the cake is done.
To make sure your cake is done, insert the toothpick into the cake. If the toothpick is clean, your cake is done.

Turn off the stove

I have never had a steamed cake. What is the texture like? The pictures look like there are two colored layers. Does this just happen?

Very interesting. It sounds something like a steamed version of an angel food cake but with baking powder. Does the baking powder make the egg whites keep their bubbles or just make them easier to whip? I wonder if this would make Meringue easier to fluff up.

balsuryana (author)JmsDwh2016-04-26

When I stirred the egg, sugar, and baking soda, it was very bubbly. But when I put the flour and then the oil and also the water, slowly the bubble was decreasing. But tbh, I'm not sure what is the function of the baking powder. ☺
Meringue. Ah, I have to try to make it. Idea comes from everyone, everywhere.
Thank you.
