Here is a very easy card trick that will work every time you try it.
Step 1: What You Need
You need a standard deck of 52 playing cards and at least one friend.
Step 2: Shuffle
Ask your friend(s) to randomly shuffle up the deck of cards.
Step 3: Making Piles to 13
Tell your friend(s) that you are going to make several piles of cards.
Count each pile up to 13.
For example, if the first card is 2, then you would count 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13.
If the first card is a Queen, you would only need to count to 1.
If the first card is a King, you would stop and make another pile.
If there are not enough cards to count up to 13, then discard the cards in a separate pile.
Step 4: Turning Over Three Piles
Ask your friend(s) to turn over any three piles.
Step 5: Gathering the Remaining Piles
Gather the remaining cards and make one big pile.
Step 6: Turning Over the Top Cards of Two of the Piles.
Turn over the top cards of two of the piles.
Step 7: Guessing the Mystery Card.
First, deal out 10 cards.
Then, deal off the value of each of the top cards.
For example, if the top two cards were a 7 and a J, then you would deal off 7 and then 11.
Finally, dealing off the remaining number of cards will equal the mystery card that was not turned over.
