Nice, but I personally wouldn't do this trick with screws. You can easily damage them that way.
It's better to disassemble almost half of a macbook than having the cover unfixable.

I'm having trouble removing the 2 screws. I'm using a flat head screw driver that i use to fix my glasses but the screw won't budge and the screw driver's tip is getting chipped.

Nice job. I did this when I had an iBook (the screen housing was attached with only four bolts). I actually used a logo printed on transparency. The best part about this mod is that it is easily reversible and still gets complements.
