Step 1: Set up your canvas

Right under the time line you will see something that says 12 fps (default) just double click it and it will bring up a properties box. change that 12 to a 24 click ok and your ready.

I love flash..... but I like doing more complicated things. Here is something I did.....

That was terrible.
Coliflower says: May 27, 2009. 6:53 PM
WOW. i could never dream of creating that kind of stuff. I love the '!?' part.
Sir Maverick says: May 27, 2009. 8:58 PM
lol...wow...I don't ever remember that...long time ago. but thanks...and now that I look back I laugh at how dumb it looks compared to what I do now....lol
Coliflower says: May 31, 2009. 6:16 PM
then you must be pretty good.
Sir Maverick says: May 31, 2009. 8:39 PM
lol...yeah...I'm more into visual effects and 3D now...lol
lawizeg says: Aug 16, 2008. 3:52 AM
This is kinda useless... you should degrade flash like that... here's a game i made.
Coliflower says: May 27, 2009. 6:50 PM
wow good job (by my standards) I envy your skills.
collard41 says: Oct 3, 2008. 8:12 AM
is there any actionscript in that. or is it just attributes.
lawizeg says: Oct 4, 2008. 3:16 PM
Theres only a little.
collard41 says: Oct 3, 2008. 8:11 AM
when i saw this i'ble i thought i was up for a more 'How to make professionalcontent and games' rather than stuff that you can do on Powerpoint. anyway, your methods are quite slow so you must have put a lot of time into that.

The video wont even load :( what the? Is it similar to the line effect I used in my reel? www.darkmotion.com/reel.mov ?
THE_GEEK2007 says: May 9, 2007. 6:01 PM
It loads fine. It must be your computer/internet connection

Why not convert your line to a symbol, create a motion guide, then a motion tween. This is a big waste of flash's potental, considering you can do this with any any animated GIF program.
PetervG says: Nov 7, 2006. 5:17 PM
Because then you can only move the line and not do stuff like make it split in two and such. It limits it potential.
zachninme says: Nov 8, 2006. 3:23 PM
Not really. Splitting in two wouldn't be as simple, but easier than your method. Just add another layer and add another.
moogoat says: Nov 16, 2006. 8:23 PM
You wouldn't get the FBF style; the line changes shape and length slightly at different frames... You use motion tweens when you want the style to be smooth and clean.
zachninme says: Nov 17, 2006. 2:41 PM
Still, you could make the item to have 3 frames, and use the wiggle tool to produce a slightly different line each time. 3 different ones should be enough.
Crash2108 says: Nov 7, 2006. 9:13 PM
It may help if the pictures weren't an inch thick.
PetervG says: Nov 9, 2006. 12:29 PM
They were normal before, weird.
