When I (bored and had nothing to do over the weekend except avoid chores) looked in my closet of random unfinished stuff, I spotted the ninja stars I made last year and remembered how everyone loved em. I figured you guys would too, and thus this instructable was  born!

Step 1: Materials

Ninja Star 003.jpg

All you need is.....

*Square paper (though I don't reccommend cardstock/construction paper)
*Scissors, if you have them on hand. If not, I'll show you how to work around that.
*Epic ninja star throwing skills!!!

For the paper, you will need eight individual squares of the same size. Though they can be any size I usually use 3"X3", because thats the size square you get from cutting a sheet of origami paper into 4. If you use squares that are much larger than that you'll have a cool looking star but you won't really be able to throw it.

You're going to make an 8 pointed star, so you can use a different color for every one, make a 12121212 pattern (1 and 2 are different colors), a 12341234, whatever you want!!

I got it in a pack of origami paper- they sell it at my local Michael's, but I dunno if they all carry it.

okay i get how to put your first piece and your second piece together, but im stuck on where to attach the thrid piece...;O
help.?(:
CamillaLuvzMusic (author) says: Apr 25, 2011. 8:48 AM
Pretend the first piece isn't even there, and tuck the corners under the flaps just like you would if it was the first point. Remember how when you spread the bottom of the point, there was two flaps? The flaps are still there, and you still attach the bottom to the flaps, only now they're hidden by the first point. Does this make sense?

YAY! ok so first, you need to download the pics to your computer. Then when you add a comment, there will be a button that says "add images". Its under the red/pink "be nice comment" box thing.
So click on that...
then there will be an orange button that says "upload pics" press that...
Then youll go through your pictures to find it. Click on it. Then click on "open" and then youll see "upload files" and then you're done!
