Today I will show you how to make a double wrapped paracord bracelet.

Step 1: Supplies

You will need two pieces of 10 ft paracord a knife a lighter and a buckle.

Step 2: Starting Out

Fold one of the pieces of paracord in half. Loop paracord threw the buckle like shown in the pictures. Then put the other buckle on the other side. Then find the length you want it.

Step 3: Start Braiding

To braid look at the pictures.

Step 4: Finishing The First Layer

When you reach your desired length scoot paracord up like shown in the pictures. Then cut and burn the ends of the paracord.

Step 5: Second Layer

Take the second piece of paracord then fold it in half and lay it u the other bracelet.

Step 6: Braid The Second Layer

To braid look at the pictures. Keep repeating this until you reach the bottom.

Step 7: Finishing Up

Cut and burn the ends of the leftover paracord.

Step 8: Finished

The first thing I did with this is the fishbone weave (you can find out how to do that on one of my instructables)
Then 2 layers of cobra weave.

A good rule of thumb is one inch of bracelet uses one foot of paracord. In your example, you would need 40 feet. It's not perfect, but its pretty close.

Hi! Every one of these instructions on braiding paracord are just for bracelets. Each one shows to use a ten foot length of line. In the case of your double-wrap, two such lengths are used, which makes a nine inch length bracelet. I want to make a spare line strap with biners instead of buckles, and want it to be about a forty inch length. How would I calculate how much to use for braiding for that length?
