distilled water is a purer form of water... which wold be pure h2o. tap water is the one that comes out of your toilet faucet. a distilled water is made by distillation. if you're lazy just boil water, collect the condensation using a slanted plane over the top and collect the drippings

Don't you need to put aluminum on the inside?

If you use glue to place the aluminum foil dose the glue acts as a dielectric with the plastic or glass?

Can I glue the aluminum to the container or jar?

If i put aluminum foil on the inside how do i go about doing that and not having gaps or rinkles in a small container or jar?

No, you don't; the salt water takes the place of it. And as long as you don't use flammable glue, you should be in the clear.
