Introduction: Make an L.E.D. Lighted Wallet (More of Pouch)

This is a fun intro to the world of L.E.D's, soldering and wallets.
At night this will be useful for finding bills, or just an emergency flashlight.
Its 1 LED but its very bright.

Step 1: Materials

Here are the materials you need:
Some LEDS

Coin Cell

Wire

Small Switch

Duct Tape

Soldering Iron

Solder

Knife/ Wire Cutter

Cardboard

Step 2: Construction

To do this you basically connect 2 wires to the battery. Connect the switch to one.

Step 3: Construction Step 2

If you take 2 pieces of duct tape and stick them together you make a big sticky piece of tape.It should be around 5x3 in. You poke an LED's leads through the duct tape. Then solder the positive and negative wires to the LED. An LED's long lead is positive and its short is negative. Also, an LED's flat side is negative. Once you have those connected, turn on the switch to check if it works. Then stick the LED's leads to the tape and bend the wires 90 degrees so it faces strait out. Then stick the switch on the top edge of the tape. Then stick the wires down onto the tape. Make another 5x3 piece of tape on top to sandwich the electronics. Cover it with a few layers to be less bumpy/wrinkly.

I know its long. Be careful with your soldering iron.

Step 4: Finishing Touches

Now create a piece of Duct Tape fabric by sticking 2 3x5 pieces of tape together sticky side together. Then tape around all the deges except for the top so you have a little money pouch. Now you can always have a flashlight!! (:

It projects like 15 feet with all the lights out. Should last a long time with normal use. And of course HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!
