Introduction: Make Your Own Roomba Concept

I have been thinking about making a floor cleaning robot for quite some time. You see, we have a dog that sheds his fur all over the house and it's a pain to have to go around and clean all of it up so i kept thinking about it and realized i could make one without programing or r/c. You don't have to worry about watching over all the time because it is completely self controlled. All you need to do is turn it on and watch the magic happen. As you can see i haven't really made it yet, if you want to see an intructable on the real thing just comment your answer and i will make it with complete instructions on how to make every single detail of it.

Step 1:

You will need a platform of plastic or wood
two engines
some fan or vacuum type deal
wires
long pieces of plastic (or other material) for antenna
Wheels
Battery pack

If these don't make sense i think the pictures and other descriptions should help you out

Step 2: Platform

Attach the engines to the platform and the engines to the battery pack. This robot is just like this BeetleBot.

Step 3: Cut Hole for Vacuum

Cut a hole that the vacuum nozzle will fit perfectly in.

Step 4: Put and a Shell

You don't need to put a shell on it but it would look better.

Step 5: YOU HAVE GOT IT

Now you have a new home roving cleaning robot. You can always put another type of cleaning pad on it too.
