video Make a $4 BB Gun & Airsoft Flamethrower
The above video demonstrates two modifications to my previous airsoft machine gun design.

If you missed my previous article in which I first showed how to make an airsoft machine gun from a soda bottle, it can be found here: http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-an-Airsoft-Machine-Gun-from-a-Soda-Bottle/

If you have electricity at one of your bases with the air compreser it would be great to protect the base it could take down lots of people at once they wouldnt even know what s coming

Has anyone made this but instead of a bottle use pvc pipe?????
hunter1125 says: Jul 3, 2012. 9:45 AM
At what pressure do you typically fill the tank to?
carlsands says: Apr 28, 2012. 4:53 AM
how do you reload the bb gun
Mr.JZ in reply to carlsandsJun 8, 2012. 3:54 PM
Just Removing the End bottle cap and then you'll put these bb's inside the bottle....

Building one soon. Probably will get a Co2 auto bike pump for quick refills and use this at our local CQC course... Domination, here I come.
Oh, an btw, have you gotten this thing crhono'ed for fps or something, maybe an estimate?
NightHawkInLight (author) in reply to matthewb6May 22, 2012. 8:09 PM
CO2 is dangerous to use in PVC. It is too cold and far too much pressure.
matthewb6 in reply to NightHawkInLightMay 23, 2012. 10:40 AM
Ok, thanks. I'll find something that may work. Lol.
Ch33se87 says: Mar 10, 2012. 12:59 PM
What if you used a c02 bicycle pump to fill the air tank? Would the gun still fire properly?
matthewb6 in reply to Ch33se87May 22, 2012. 7:13 PM
Knowing this is based on air pressure and not gas, it should... I didn't make this, but it should.
matthewb6 in reply to matthewb6May 23, 2012. 10:39 AM
*edit* No. Refer to comment above.

Thanks for this instructables it is amazing but i have a couple of questions: how long does the air tank last for, how can i extend the air tank, and does the air tank have to be shaped like a U or is that just to fit in the back pack? thanks allot for this instructables.

Nice use of simple materials, elegant design. Also, well done on the video editing.

What if the pressure you keep in the tank and how long can you shoot? I have taken these PVC tanks up to 150psi myself. I wonder how long before you have to refill.
NightHawkInLight (author) in reply to hellozeFeb 25, 2012. 10:20 AM
I only take mine up to about 120. That is what I am comfortable with. It fires for about 20 seconds before needing a refill.

mikemmcmeans says: Feb 24, 2012. 10:01 AM
wheres the flamethrower part?
Aron313 says: Feb 21, 2012. 3:07 PM
That is awesome! How far does it shoot? And can i make the gun part like you did with the mini-gun that you made so that the bbs will shoot farther?
NightHawkInLight (author) in reply to Aron313Feb 21, 2012. 3:22 PM
Thanks! It shoots a good 150 feet or so. With a longer barrel like on my minigun project it would go much further. You can also just use a longer brake line and not insert it all the way into the bottle.
Aron313 in reply to NightHawkInLightFeb 21, 2012. 4:07 PM
Thanks for the info and your instructables!

If you have one of those small air compressors, you could power it with a small laptop battery or power-wheels battery.
