Make a Bag out of a Long-sleeved Kids T-shirt

If you have kids you know the problem: they grow out of all their clothes before you know it. So here something you can do with a T-shirt that's just to nice to just throw away..

Step 1 Choose your T-shirt

First you need a kids T-shirt, not to small! It has to be big enough to make a bag out of it!

I found the steps in this to be very confusing and not well explained. Sorry, but I won't be using this as instructions for making a bag. I would rather try to figure out how to make one on my own.

this step confused me. so far we have the bottom of the shirt sewn closed. presumably this is supposed to make the opening for the top of the bag but there's no instruction to cut anywhere. if done as written your bag will be sewn totally shut.

Look again, she says to put your items in through the neck opening - she even shows it in the last photo, I thought as you did also but couldn't believe it so I read it more carefully.

I found this to be a bit confusing... I preferred the dress from a large mans shirt better, easier instructions. Sorry but I won't make this bag...
