Step 9 Cut out the Visor

Cut the visor out of your safety mask, by tracing the design on, and then cutting out with a jigsaw or a dremel tool. Try to cut it out as cleanly as possible, but if your edges are a little jagged it should be fine since it will be covered up by the helmet. Then spray on the window tinting.

i am trying to make one but i have one question. what is that visor made out of

I bought a face protection shield from Home Depot, they're in the personal safety section and cost about $15.  The shield is fairly easy to cut with a regular size pair of scissors.  Just a tip: I'd start bigger than the visor needs to be and slowly cut it down until it fits.  You can always take some plastic off, but you can't put more on once it's cut off.

On my build I'm also opting for conventional window tint as opposed to spray on tint.  I haven't tinted my visor piece yet, but it shouldn't be too hard.
