Ok cool thanks
by any chance are u a Texas tech fan. I say this because I noticed a tech bag in the pic.
I do this for our annual fall parties. I use a brass quarter-turn hose bib and brass nipple for the spout. Then I drill a hole towards the bottom with a bit slightly smaller then the nipple ensure a good seal. Apple cider goes well in these as well. In the summer you can do a similar idea with watermelons.
The spigot should probably go in the bottom of the pumpkin, not as the nose. Otherwise you'll need to tilt the pumpkin to get the rest of the booze.
Does it taste like pumpkin
If you shave the inside walls enough, no it won't. If at all you would barely be able to taste a hint of it.
Also, If you fill it with the beers or punch recipes suggested, the flavors will either cover any hint of it (especially the alcohol) or the beers will pair well with/cover it as well.
Shaving the walls smooth enough should remove any pulp or anything that will make it taste like pumpkin
Woo!!! Tustin!!!
