Make a Really Really Big Swing

If you can find an old warehouse that has some really high exposed beams, some rope and a piece of wood then you can make a really really big swing!

if you loop another rope over the beam then you can tie it onto the swing aand have other people pull it down, therefore pulling you up, therefore swinging you.

Rather than just a 2X4, when I make swings, I rope multiple pieces of bamboo together. It makes for a really nice, comfortable seat.

god i yearn for the old days in my dads old depot, think 60ft high with ladders etc and rooms with by then broken windows in one side of the building, you could swing from the (ex) window of a room halfway up the building eliminating all pushing, with a swing made for floor heights it looked like you were gonna hit the floor......... wee trick is to tie a good slipnot in the rope for the swing, pull it tight with two or three people and then put your seat in, after this cut the excess rope off or keep it as a means of stopping when you freak out (one of my bros is a wuss.)
