Every years the company will reward the employees who had good performance in the past year, sometimes money or gifts. At Seeedstudio we also have such tradition. But, as a team with so many makers, we want something different.

This year, we made a beautiful steam punk style cup for those guys.

The Wio Link team got the "The Best Team Award". Here we will share the instructable of this cup.

Step 1: A Video

I'm in the process of creating awards for a robotics competition, and this is exactly the kinetic design that I've been dreaming of for the past few weeks; thanks for sharing!

Sound great! Will you post an instructable when it's completed? can't wait to see it.

Classes picked up so I never really got a chance to experiment, but I did incorporate gears (waterjet from 1/8-inch-thick aluminum sheet) on one of the awards. I added LED strips to the base too for a more interesting effect. :)

And the 2016 Award for the most Awesome Steampunk Award goes to Seeedstudio!

Great 'ible too.

Thanks. I am glad that you like it.

Thanks. I am glad that you like it.

Hi, I love what you have created here! You really should name it Steampunk Style Award....because cups are usually cups for any achievements....the America Cup is a cup...etc

Thank you! Rename it already :)

As English is not my mother tongue, will always make some joke and mistake.
