actualy i reserched this because some of the traditional japanese models use cuting and even sewing(from before glue was commen) and a good number of the older complex models are what a modern origamist would consider kirigami try googling Hiden Senbazuru Orikata or origami connected cranes the results might supprise you

I made 2 for math and chemistry. I wrote the formulas of them to this book in order to remember them well and can bring them everywhere :-)

It is so amazing how one wrong fold changes it from a 16 page book to a 4 page book!! The videos are fast, yes, but that is what the 'pause' button is for. Thank you again. As a scrapper/stamper, I'm inspired for all sorts of photo/stamping projects. Thank you!!
