AWSOME, you could do this in code, instead of having this set up, but this seems A lot easier...

cool and all, but you should post instructions too, like for some people that might have slow internet cool video!

Perhaps in future Instructables you could include INSTRUCTIONS..... just kidding. NICE JOB BTW.
Do have a suggestion though: Maybe put the sentence below the Video in Bold and perhaps CAPS to catch the attention of people whom might just skim and miss it. I wouldn't suggest doing this on regular Instructables though :)

Great...an Instruction-less INSTRUCTABLE! Maybe we need a new website for "Bad-Hack-Demos.com". And even then it hardly qualifies for that. Mabe a site called TriffleVids.com.

Seriously cool, but I agree with GorillazMiko.

thats awesome but, this is for youtube and hackaday, when posting something on Instructables you need a work log or at least pictures of your progress so others can learn and possibly build on your ideas

Additional documentation is not required for Videos and Slideshows. If you really want more information, than ask for it from the author, but don't demand. What kind of videos can I post? Submit your how-to videos, show off what you have made or are currently making. Just make sure the videos are your own. What can I use slideshows for? Slideshows are for showing off photos of what you made or did, but don't have full instructions to create an Instructable with.

Perhaps one of the "bosses" should post up a message (forum or even just in a slideshow) stating this :P (though it'd probably be ignored anyhow)...

Hey, I am a boss :)

Here's what we have on the site describing what each type is meant for. I think the problem is that the people posting are seeing this information, but not all the readers, so we end up with the disconnect. It's great for users who really want to ask the author for more detail on a project, but the posts I'm seeing are mostly just saying, hey this isn't an Instructable, you need more documentation.

Here you go.... Made you guys down at HQ a [http://www.instructables.com/id/The-InstructableSlideshowVideo-Tabs..../ Tab Instructable].
Hopefully the masses will become somewhat curious and read up on it :)

I never said you weren't a boss.... I just merely suggested that one of the bosses (didn't want to exclude the others :P ) post something.

I know what you mean... maybe at the top/bottom of each slideshow/video there should be an explanation of the new additions (at least for a while like a month or so) just to get everyone into the swing of things. It could also include that people can ask for instructions, and not demand them. Unless the authors foresee the needs of the community like tanntraad when he linked his Video to his Instructable :)
