Introduction: Make Wall Hooks From a Metal Hanger

Make handy wall hooks for use in drywall  out of a metal clothes hanger and vinyl tubing

Step 1: Materials

1-clothes hanger
2ft of vinyl tubing
wire cutters

Step 2: Making the Cuts

Wear Eye Protection!
Cutting  the hanger in the three areas  pictured nets you 3 large hooks. adjusting cut locations will  get you different sized hooks. Cut Pieces at an angle to leave a sharp point so it will penetrate the wall more easily.

Step 3: Bending Your Hooks

Bend the hooks so that you have a "J"  with a 1-1/2 point  as pictured.

Step 4: Finishing Up

Feed the vinyl tubing over your hooks. then bend tip of hook  over to hold tubing in place.

Step 5: Hang Things

Put the spike into Sheet rock (drywall) at a 45 degree angle and hang things from it , simple as that.
