Most likely, you marked somewhere you didn't want to.
Now dip a THIN TIPPED brush into alcohol and brush over the part you marked on accident. Be sure to brush away from the rest of the design and be careful not to get any alcohol on the rest of the design.
Now, what this will do is take of some of the sharpie ink, but will smear it out as well. Use the brush to get rid of all the ink that's close to the design. After that, use the Q-tip(dipped in alcohol) to wipe off the excess ink away from the design. Excess alcohol left on the shoe will be soaked away(not wiped) with a tissue.

Note: This will take a good amount of time, as you have to brush over it over 40 times to fully get rid of the ink. Watch the video again.
