Step 1: What You Need

Web browser (i think you have one if you are reading this)
an email
a song you want to have as ring tone(please own the music you use or royalty free)
audacity
verizon phone

Step 2: Prepare the Song

load song into audacity and convert to mono

Step 3: Choose What You Want to Be Ring Tone

select part you want to be the ring tone
IMPORTANT: MUST BE UNDER 38 SECONDS TO WORK!!!

Step 4: Export It Now

file>export

set to mp3
click options and set quality to 64 kbps
then save them to where ever( i did my desktop)

Step 5: Email to Your Phone

Email the sound to your phone as an attachment to: yournumber@vzwpix.com
(EX. 1234567890@vzwpix.com)

Step 6: On Phone

when you recive mesage
on phone goto options>save as Ringtone
and YOU JUST MADE A RINGTONE ^_^   :P

I'll Have to use my windows desktop unit, I tried to use my ubuntu laptop, and ran into a &quot;download Frenzy&quot; (I didn't have all the apropriate apps) plus: all of my music is .wma, and Audacity won't open it in ubuntu for some reason!!<br>-But thanks for the 'Ible, I WILL SUCCEED!!<br><br> {-tryin' to put Pink-Floyd's &quot;TIME&quot; on my Verison Samsung Intensity II}<br>
