Introduction: Making a Flemish Bow String With Timber Hitch

I used B-50 Dacron, some clamps, a really large knife (optional), bow string wax, and scissors.

I use a Dewalt cordless drill to make my Flemish twist bowstrings. It takes about 5 minutes to make one. I also find that a bowline knot works best for my pin design. I had a lot of trouble with the timber hitch slipping off my pins.
