Making a plaster mould for a puppet head

video Making a plaster mould for a puppet head

This video shows how to make a mould that can be used to make a detailed puppet head from papier mache.

The technique starts with a hand-modelled plasticine original head, from which a 2-part mould is created.  This can be lined with papier mache to create moudlinds that can recreate the original shape of the head in lightweight papier mache.

This video is one of several in the Micro Mr Punch project.
