Introduction: Mango Lassi (Indian Summer Cooler)

Lassi is a yogurt based drink which is served cold. It basically originated in India and Pakistan. During scorching summer Lassi is a favorite among the people.

Here I have made the sweeter version of Lassi out of mangoes. I went to the market which was flooded with mangoes. So, why not a mango Lassi! It is thirst quenching and a big relief on a hot Summer Day. Hope you like it!

Step 2: Slice

Slice the mango into small cubes.

Blend the mangoes till they form smooth textured puree with no lumps.

Step 4: Blend the Lassi

Add the mango puree, yogurt, milk, sugar, Ice cubes, Cardamom Powder and Rose water in the blender.

Blend it till well combined.

The lassi will be of a creamy texture.

Splenda works well in Lassi instead of sugar. There's enough real sugar in the mangoes to make it taste right.
