Heres a simple metal detector you can make the schematic is added see the last image
This project detects the presence of metallic materials depends on the absorption of magnetic energy. When a metal object is introduced into the magnetic field, sensor coil as shown in the circuit diagram absorbed enough magnetic energy, which causes the output of IC1 goes high and buzzer connected at its output raises an alarm, which indicates that the object introduced is metal

Do you mind to share the detail components used in this circuit? and I would like to know further about the range of this detector and the operation principle of this circuit, as i'm now working with my semestral project which is a Lost Metal Detector.. I tried to search for suitable inductive sensor but it's unaffordable for desired range, so I planned to make one myself, hope to hear from u soon =)

2) Can be greater the coil, to enlarge the scope?
