Introduction: Microwave Scrambled Eggs

About: Yup, I live in little old Oklahoma. No, we do NOT live in tepees, and, unlike you would expect, the state is nowhere close to flat. Most of my computer skills come from my dad, who is a programmer, and first…

I found this recipe in a book I have about cooking stuff in silicone cupcake liners.  This is a super fast thing to make for breakfast, and usually comes out pretty good.  I should probably warn everyone that this recipe has a tendency to explode, making a mess in your microwave.  Enjoy your scrambled eggs!

Step 1: Supplies

You will need:
1 Egg
Silicone Cupcake Liner
Cheese (any kind, also optional)
Bowl
Fork
Salt and pepper (if desired)
Microwave

Step 2: Put Stuff Together

First, crack the egg into the bowl.  Use your fork to beat said egg.  Then, you can add whatever you like , including milk, cheese, and salt and pepper.  Finally, pour the egg mixture into your silicone cupcake liner.  If you don't have a silicone cupcake liner, I imagine this recipe would also work in a mug.  You could just mix everything in a mug as well, and stick that in the microwave.

Step 3: Cook Your Egg

Now, place your egg in the microwave.  You should probably be careful doing so if you are using a silicone cupcake liner because they have very flexible sides, meaning they have a tendency to spill their contents.  Set your microwave for one minute (or more, or less, depending on your microwave).  Keep an eye on your egg.  If it explodes, well, you've got a small mess on your hands, and your egg is probably done.  Be careful removing the egg from the microwave, because it will likely be very hot.

Step 4: Eat!

Especially if you have a sensitive mouth like me, it would be best if you let your egg cool before eating it.  Enjoy!
