Here is my first Minecraft instructable, and here is my NASA Shuttle that uses pistons and slime blocks to run. You need 1.8 versions and up.

Step 1: Building

Follow pics to build the shuttle

Step 2: Done!

Now your shuttle is done! Now you can finally go to the moon!

    Did you put an outer shell on it to look like a spaceship? This is a great project! I am sure to try it out.

    on the cover photo I just made a model of the real one. You can't put a shell on the one that flies or it can't push that many blocks.

    think it would work sideways? hmmm... try working on a north/east/south/west/up/down machine, if not diagonal... just a suggestion. (sethbling might help you... )
