Ummm this is still in beta form so it's on discount for $15 bucks only.
When it's full release on November 18,then it would be $20.

You make sure that you installed it correctly and that you have a vanilla(Clean with no mods) Jar. And you can't join any servers that aren't 1.9 compatible.But other than that, it should work.
