I used to do this 15 years ago in middle school. I had quite the collection, almost an obsession. It also reminds me of "guns" I made using the cheap Bic mechanical pencils and a rubber band. I have never liked pencils, so this was a good use for them. I usually cut pens down to use in my geocaches these days. Thanks for the nostalgia.
