Introduction: Mini Lego Guitar

This is how to make a mini Lego acoustic guitar.

Step 1: The Pieces

The pieces needed are listed above.

The main color i used is orange, but you can use whatever color you want.

Step 2: The Neck

First you attach the hinge plate to the 1x6 as shown.

Step 3:

Put a small incline brick on the top of the hinge piece.

Step 4:

put the stud below that.

Step 5: Strings

Put the vent on the bottom of the 1x6 as shown.

Step 6:

Put the connector peg into the 1x2 brick.

Step 7:

Add the 2x2 on the 1x2 brick as shown.

Step 8:

Put two curve bricks on the 2x2.

Step 9:

put the other two incline bricks on the front of the 2x2 as shown.

Step 10:

Add the center stud brick on the two curve bricks.

Step 11:

put that whole part on the bottom of the 1x6.

Step 12:

Put a connector peg into the connector peg brick.  You should make two of these.

Step 13:

Add a curve brick on the bottom of the part you just made.

Step 14:

Add another on the bottom of that.

Step 15:

Add the other connector peg and brick part you made earlier on the bottom of that.

Step 16:

This next part is tricky, you have to put the whole thing on the back where it fits as shown.

Step 17: Finshed!

Flip it over and you are done!

Enjoy!

This reminds me of an electric standup bass more than a guitar.

Have you ever seen a picture of Jimmy Hendrix lighting his guitar on fire at the Monterrey Pop Festival? Dude, that would be killer to do with a Lego guy!

Nice job!
my son & I are addicted to Legos. we'll be making this tonight.

is it scaled to be used with the figures? I'm thinking that if it's to big to be a guitar that we'll make it a stand-up base. still an important member of the band.

now, can you design me a drum set?
:)

I have made a drumset once it was so cool! i made a guitar bass and drums and vocals.and i have the big rig for the legos and i made a heavy metal band rig! it was so cool to show to my cousins.and it was int all that hard either!

This is cool! I'm not a big "lego head" though, so can you post a pic next to a coin or something for a size reference?

I'm short on coins, here's it compared to bottle cap.
