Introduction: Mini "T" Puzzle

About: I am a maker. As founder of MakerBlog, I enjoy sharing my creations with others.

This is the perfect puzzle to confuse and baffle a friend!  This is probably one of the hardest 4-piece puzzles out there, yet it is fairly simple to make! You can spend four dollars to buy one of these puzzles, or you can earn four dollars worth of experience by making your own!
What you need:
3"x3"x1/4" thick piece of wood (preferably not plywood)
  Sandpaper
  Stain
  Foam brush
  "T" Pattern
  Scrollsaw

Step 1: Cutting and Sanding

Tape your design to the piece of wood and cut it out on your scroll saw.  Cut the T into sections as shown above.  Sand thoroughly with the grain.

Step 2: Staining

Open up your wood finish and mix thorougly with a paint stick. Next, wipe all the sawdust off of your piece of wood with a damp cloth and apply the stain evenly with your foam brush as soon as the wood is dry.  Finally, dab off the extra stain and let dry.

Step 3: Cleanup

This is the most important step of all! Put away everything after you are done! If you did this before you read the step, CONGRATULATIONS!!! This is a sign of a good woodworker. Pat yourself on the back and go buy yourself some chocolate!!
