Step 7: Finishing the catapult


This is the last step....by completing this step you will have your own catapult!!!

Take the other half of of the clothespin that was left from 2 steps ago and attach it on top of the frame we made in steps 3 and 4, this is used to stop the spoon from going too low as we get the click and the spoon goes even lower and does not flick back, so this will stop the black part of the clip from going higher than the certain level(before the click, the click stuff only happens some times with only some types of clips) as shown in the pictures

So all you need to do now is take 2 rubber bands(No matter even if you are making the permanent version, you still take 2 rubber bands)and then attach them to the back of the spoon and to the front of the half clothespin we attached in this step, you can see this way better in the pictures!

* Make sure one rubber band is a little higher than the other(This will provide a more smooth flick)
* Make sure the rubber bands are attached firmly to the spoon with another binder-clip.
