Introduction: Miniature Coloring Book

Picture of Miniature Coloring Book

This is a miniature coloring book for miniature crayons in a dollhouse. However, this little coloring book alongside with some cute little crayons might make a great gift, especially for a child who likes to play with dolls.

What do you need?
CopyMax or a high quality printer
clear glue
scissors
Microsoft word

Step 1: Create Book in Word

1. Go on Google images to find a picture of a cover and a back cover and minimize them so they are 1 inch tall. (word will automatically adjust the width to be proportional to the original size photo). Paste the back cover first and then the front cover. No space in between the front cover and back cover, unless you want a white spine.

2. Create another page. View gridlines and ruler. Set the page so that text and images are aligned to the left.

3. Find 6 coloring book pages here: http://www.kids-n-fun.com/Coloringpages/
Minimize them to be 1 inch tall. leave one space in between each image. Paste the pictures at the very top of the page.

Step 2: Print and Cut Out

I strongly suggest you go to CopyMax or something like it to get these printed in the highest quality ink,

*Print the cover on one sheet of GlossText in the thinnest sheet available. It should resemble high quality magazine paper.

*Print pages 2 and 3 double sided on Cotton Paper (the stuff used for resumes)

Step 3: Fold Paper, Trim Paper, Glue Paper

1. Fold the first picture backwards. Continue folding to make it like a fan. (See Picture)
2. Place the folded paper in the book and trim off the side that sticks out from the cover with your scissors.
3. Create a thin line of clear glue on the inner spine area of the cover
4. Glue book together, clamping the spine and pages together with your fingers. Be careful, glue might seep out and stick to your pages if you do not do this correctly or if you add too much glue.

Step 4: Finished!

After it is done drying, it should open up nicely and work. Please post pictures, I would love to see them!
