Mint Tin Remote for a DSLR Camera

Mint Tin Remote for a DSLR Camera
Ever since I tried taking a picture of burning gunpowder while lighting it at the same time, I was determined to make a remote for my camera. (I ended up plugging an aux (the smaller kind) male to male cord into the camera and then stuck the other side in my mouth to make a connection, and take the pic) =P So the next time I take a picture of burning gunpowder whilst lighting it, I can stick the other end into my remote instead of my mouth. You can see the hole in the tin in the picture where I plug my camera in.

Why not take one of the inexpensive radio flash remote things as a switch to light the gunpowder? You can use a bulb type flash, hook wires to some ultra fine steel wool or a model rocket igniter to light the gunpowder.
