Step 1: Gather the Ingredients

For this recipe, you will need...

  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 2 shots espresso
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (or whole milk)
  • 4 tbsp plus extra drizzle chcolate syrup (store-bought or homemade)
  • extra sweetner (opt.)
  • whipped cream (opt.)

Step 2: Blend Your Drink

Make sure your espresso is at room temperature (you don't want it to melt the ice!).

Pour everything into a high speed blender, and blend on high until the ice is crushed into a fine slush, and your drink has the consistency of an ice blended drink.

Step 3: Garnish and Finish

Add a drizzle of your chocolate syrup to the inside walls of a clear glass, and pour your drink in. Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream if desired, and drizzle a bit more of your syrup on top.

Step 4: Enjoy!
