Step 14: Chromosome: Centromere
I (inadvertently) made one of the chromatids shorter but I left it that way since I thought it would look like it was unraveling, I would use this one to connect to the other components of the model (see next step).
Chromatids are joined at the centromere. For my chromosome I just sewed them together with thread. I connected them at about 1/3 of the length from the end. Thus making it metacentric.
