Monkey's fist knot AND the monkey

Step 7Tying the monkey together

Tying the monkey together
Next, tie a single fisherman's knot around the center for a body. The extra slack of this you can tie off for a tail. If you do not know the single fisherman's, just tie around the center 3 times and pull the string through for the tail. Now you have the body. For the arms, take the leftover string from tying the head to the legs and tie it into the first step in tying the shoelace, or a crossover knot, and pull the arms out going separate ways. If you do not understand some of this, improvise and it will probably still come out well.
