Last year, my kids wanted Finn and Jake costumes (See my previous Instructables). This year they wanted to be Rigby and Mordecai from Regular Show on Cartoon Network. At 10 and 5, they're the perfect height difference to pull this off, so I had to give it a try. I totally did them a "solid."

I intended to write a tutorial but ended up winging it and not taking many pictures of the process. Suffice it to say, the two costumes cost $40 in fleece and foam, 14 hours of late-night cutting and sewing, and one giant mess in my studio. It was worth it though. My kids got one-of-a-kind costumes of two of their favorite characters. Yeah-uhh!

For more info and pictures, check out my blog post about this project here.
I was thinking my kids should do regular show this coming Halloween and ride on a golf cart but they chose power rangers mystic force instead :(
Adorably awesome. Great job!
These costumes are spot on! Wow. I am super impressed - you did an amazing job!
My daughter's Rigby costume made a little princess cry and run screaming to her mom. Ha!
Again, just really really good :D <br />Which one made the little girl cry?
