This is the afghan I crocheted
Basically, what I did was purchase worsted weight yarn in various colors from Lion Brands.
Then using a pattrern I already had on hand, I began to crochet the individual motifs with a G hook.. After making 52 of the pink and 52 of the purple motifs, I joined the pieces using black yarn. Then working around the entire outer edge, I created a border.
How did you come across this site?
Saw the sweeps in my regular sweepstake site. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the rules for the contest, so I submitted the afghan and they want a toy etc made from yarn. Oh, well...
