Mosaic Art Fruit Basket & Frame With Papers /kids Craft

Paper Mosaic Art is so simple and adaptable . If you are going to get the kids to draw the picture make sure you do it with them with simple step by step instructions.

Step 1: Things Needed

To make this fruit basket you'll need:

• White Card stock
• Color papers
• Picture drawn/traced
• Glue
• Scissors

To make this frame you'll need:

• Card board
• Newspapers
• Color Papers
• Glue
• Scissors
• Knife

Step 2: Lets See How to Do Fruit Basket

1. Trace/Draw an image in white Sheet/Card stock
2. Cut the color paper into small strips and cut them into tiny pieces
3. Glue them over the picture

Step 3: Lets See How to Do Base of Photo Frame

Trace picture size in the cardboard (example : your picture size is 12*5 , make a border at 12*5 and and other border of 1.5 cms more ).

In other cardboard mark an excess of 1.5 cms and cut that.

Now in the first board , which has the the picture size marked cut that part.

Now cut three pieces of cardboard to stick on the cardboard's left , right and bottom side. ( see picture attached more for clearance)

Now glue the other card board to this .

Our Frame base is ready :)

Step 4: Designing Frame

Paste newspaper to cardboard

Cut newspaper into small pieces and roll newspapers and glue them to the cardboard.

Cut the excess newspaper.

Our frame is almost done .. Yay !!

Its time to paint frame and design it.

I used color papers to quill flowers and butterfly and beads to decorate.

Finally cut a piece of cardboard, cut a small hole in center and glue it behind the frame to hang it .

Step 5: Assembling and Hanging

Now place the the fruit basic mosaic art into the frame and hang it !!

Crafting this Fruit basket with bits of paper isn't hard to do. But working with these tiny bits , takes a lot of time.

But I'm very pleased with the final result. :) :)
