Then take your rotary tool and smoothen/round the inner edges of the pins with a grinding bit. This is not completely necessary, but the contact between the ball bearing and the pins will be less reliable in my experience. You'll only need to smoothen/round it slightly, don't overdo it. Also, you'll only have to do it on the upper half (before the angled part) as that part comes in contact with the ball bearing.
Push the pins the rest of the way down and insert another two on the other end. Repeat the entire cutting-grinding process for the newly inserted pair of pins.
Now adjust all the pins so that the housing is about halfway along the length of the pins.
